32 days til Christmas!! EEK

I do believe the holidays snuck up on me this season. Shoot THanksgiving is just a couple of days away. No idea yet what our plans are family wise. Pretty sure we'll be going by both houses though. And seeing my family and the in-laws.

Wednesday marks 30 weeks of baby making for us!! Its becoming soooo real that in a couple short months we'll have a baby. Hopefully by my 24th birthday! Which is February 6th<3 Hes been the most active little baby lately, jost a wiggling and punching and kicking, feels like a swallowed a baby. My whole belly just moves and shakes from his little actions. Im really gonna miss those when hes out here with us. But at least we'll have a squirming baby in our arms to cuddle<3 Im Soooo nervous about Labor, and then breastfeeding, and then keeping it all together. I know im a woman and this is natural. We've been doing it forever but still. IM sooooo nervous that everything happens safely and soundly.

In other News I started a job at Target! I really like it. And it pays okay<3 The only part i Dislike is the standing on my feet for long hours part. By the 4th hour Im ready to just quit and lay down. Haha...but most of my shifts are 6-8hrs so im just having to deal. Itll be worth the extra x-mas money. I really want to have as good of a x-mas as possible. And get lil charlotte some good 1st gifts. We also need just a couple more things for Dexter<3

Im looking forward to the holidays....yet dreading them. Im more exxcited for January and the arrival of my lil snuggly winter baby<3

Baby shower and 29 weeks!

So this past weekend was my babyshower.
Yay is all i can say really!

Geesh theres just not words enough to describe how thankful I am.

Today im just a day away from being 29 weeks! wow, its so hard to imagine really. In as little as 10 weeks we'll be meeting our son. Even though Im starting to feel miserable and tired all the time im staying focused. And trying to get mentally prepared for life to change in a couple short months. Im so excited to meet him, yet sooo anxious and nervous as to how I will be as a momma. I think hes starting to get nice and strong for us based on the strength hes gaining in his lil kicks and jabs.
Cody was Finally able to feel them. Usually the lil bugger stops right about the time I get codys attention to feel. So he gave daddy some swift punches and let him know he exists:)
Ive been feeling movement for a month or two. But now its just so much more often and stronger. I love it. Wow we are almost 28 weeks into making our baby!

So time is flying for me...but almost not fast enough.
We had our follow up appointment at the doctors office this past friday.
Everything checked out just perfect. Dexters little heartbeat was normal!!! yay..for the biggest sigh of relief. I had a mere 1 lb gain. YAY again. And my tricky blood pressure was perfect. I couldnt of asked for a better appointment. Or a better Doctor. Well shes actually the Nurse practioner at my doctors office. I totally prefer seeing her though. I feel sooo comfortable asking her things, and shes always feeding me neat facts about the baby's development.

My baby shower is the next highlight of our month. I cant wait to have a reason to
see all our friends and family. And to celebrate this lil boy growing in me.
Then Thanksgiving will be here a week or two later, another checkpoint to his arrival.
Then Christmas in a mere few weeks. And then itll be a short countdown til im
loving and snuggling my lil Mini-cody.

The nursery is all painted and pretty ready to go. Thanks soooooo much to my awesome mother in law Kim. We love ya<3 and I totally couldnt of painted it by myself.
NOw Ive just been constantly daydreaming about having him here. Wondering what my days will be like. I cant wait to have purpose for everyday. And maybe an end to this horrible boredom that staying at home as brought on so far.
Ive gotten a holiday job and Bath & Body Works. So lets hope that will work out. As long as i can get scheduled and get some hours. Otherwise Im going to look for soemthing else. To help fund Christmas. And get some last minute things done around the ol Casa'.

I think Ill take some photos of me at 28 weeks soon. Im horrible about procrastinating.

Sooo our weekend has been pretty nice and lazy<3 Yesterday we went to the arts and craft show at the coliseum, and we came away with a good smelling candle. I do believe the only thing they think of selling at those things are candles, jewelry, and and bags. And one random teeth whitening station. It was a kinda lame craft show in my eyes. Today we've just been cleaning house a little and watching football. Little Dexter is Karate chopping today so its giving me alot of tummy rubbing time. Im totally dying with no sugar, the no caffeine part I can deal with. The no sugar part is totally hard. EEk. Thank goodness its just til friday. Its not like im scarfing down a gigantic bowl of chocolate or anything but a random bit of sweetness is just wonderful.

New to us<3

I totally want to Credit my our friend Erica for the idea of a family blog. Codys family is mainly here in West Texas, however I have family In Arizona, California, Georgia, and Florida! so..since we are expecting our lil boy this will be a way to keep in touch in a way. Basically also just letting everyone know whats goin on with us.
For those who dont know or know little about it, we are almost 27 weeks pregnant with our first child. We are sooooo excited to be welcoming a little boy in the first months of the new year !! His name will be Dexter Ray Johnson.

Our halloween was pretty great. We went to a friends house for some food and some good conversation. Me and cody both got to ooogle at lil babies since soo many of our friends have had kiddos in 07'-08-. Afterwards we stopped by briefly to another friends house where they have an awesome party every year. That was fun too. But I was pooped. Cody went as the joker and I went as an egyptian mummy. Everyone dressed up that we know so it was really fun! I think every grown up should dress up on halloween.
